DJ Chemo is a musician, producer, dj and songwriter that has been in the music business for over 30 years. After witnessing his uncle play bass in different bands he was inspired to make music and he began playing drums at an early age. Later he started picking up other instruments such as guitar, bass, piano and multiple percussion instruments. At the age of 8 he got his first 4 track recorder and began to record demos for some rock/cover bands which lead to his interest in producing his own tracks. In 1995 Chemo was in a band called Nervesaw who were recruited to join the group Prophets of Rage. They toured with artists such as Coolio, Die Fantastischen Vier, Megavier and others, and released 2 albums. In 1998 Chemo decided to add turntables to his list of instruments played. Since then he has concentrated more on dj'ing than any of the other instruments that he plays. Chemo made mixtapes such as Dirty South Park, The Official Lowrider Magazine 30th Anniversary Mixtape and The Rollercoaster series and has performed with artists such as Fatman Scoop, Scratch(from The Roots), Dj Jam(Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre), Camp Lo, Dj Epps(G-unit), Ward 21, Redman, Methodman and many others. He has also either dj'd or been the master of ceremonies at many events such as Rock am Ring, the Splash festival, Turkish National Talent Contest and many others. DJ Chemo does radio shows and has regular guest spots on stations such as BLB Radio, Radio 99, Radio X, Big Fm, Antennewest and Planet Radio.
